In response to the growing demand among designers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the built environment, the Concrete Products Group—a consortium of industry-leading manufacturers—has developed CarbonX CMU Technology, an innovative solution designed to significantly lower the embodied carbon of concrete masonry units (CMUs) and select veneer products.
